The below services are standard for most managed hosting customers:

  • Performance Management

    Monitor, measure, analyze and report systems performance as it compares to the agreed-upon service levels, collection and analysis of statistics, tuning of system software and hardware environments to meet service level objectives and improve those objectives to prevent impact on services.

  • Quality Management
    Create, incorporate and maintain all documentation, procedures and standards. Validate that all policies, procedures and standards are up-to-date, of good quality, understandable and followed.
  • Recovery Management

    Plan, establish and test the recovery procedures required to provide services in the event of a failure.

  • Incident Management

    Identify, record, track and correct issues impacting service delivery, recognize recurring problems, address procedural issues and contain and reduce impact.

  • Production Support Management

    Monitor production jobs and tasks to ensure successful completion and reschedule, report, tune, maintain and configure scheduling software.

  • Availability Management
    Ensure the availability of system resources, hardware, software and applications according to contracted service level agreements and that the infrastructure is in place and available to meet requirements for the specified service levels.
  • Capacity and Configuration Management

    Develop and maintain tactical and strategic plans to verify the data center environment accommodates growing and changing business requirements. This includes capacity planning for all aspects of the environment, bench marking and reporting.

  • Batch Management
    Plan and control production batch work including the administration and coordination of job schedules, execution of schedules, scheduling of resources and processing of data and transactions.
  • Resource Utilization Management

    Monitor and report on the use of processing resources per unit of work, identify resource violations or restrictions by type or excess. Coordinate with capacity and performance management to ensure the costs for services are not due to poor performance or resource abuse.

  • System Software Management

    Obtain and manage software licenses, auditing software to determine license expiration and renew licenses to avoid service impacts. Manage software licenses and associated maintenance agreements to ensure compliance and vendor support requirements and software performance and accuracy.

  • Media Management

    Provide support, control and management for disk space and tape resources. This includes naming and usage standards, proper file storage (on-site and off-site) and monitoring and maintenance of media to prevent incidents due to obsolescence, abuse, improper use or defect. Also included is quality assurance, validation of output and compliance with security and disaster recovery requirements as well as the operation of media devices, library and retention management and inventory and recall of data.

  • Facilities Management

    Building construction, physical safety, power supply and protections against fire, flooding and force majeure.
