Companion Data Services Named a Representative Vendor by Gartner in its Market Guide for U.S. Healthcare Payers’ Core Administration Processing Solutions for the First Time

Companion Data Services, LLC (CDS) is proud to announce that they are included in Gartner’s “Market Guide for U.S. Healthcare Payers’ Core Administration Processing Solutions” (June 13, 2018) as a Representative Vendor.

CDS was recognized for its Healthcare Payer SuiteSM, an end-to-end payer administrative platform that uses value-based portals to enable a 360-degree view and facilitate customized interactions. It uses real-time processing in all channels, including member, enrollment, payment, eligibility and provider functions.

According to CDS President Lola Jordan, Gartner is the world’s leader in objective, technical market trends and business insight.

“We have worked very hard to develop a solution that helps payers modernize their technology and processes,” she said. “It is rewarding to see our solution mentioned in Gartner’s ‘Market Guide for U.S. Healthcare Payers’ Core Administrative Processing Solutions,’ and we are proud of the acknowledgement of our efforts.”

According to Gartner: “Core administrative processing solutions (CAPS) are a combination of software and services that U.S. health care payers use to:

  • “Design and manage health benefits
  • “Enroll, bill and service purchasers (groups and individuals)
  • “Process and pay claims submitted for health-value and delivered by health care suppliers (providers of health and wellness care and services)

“Additionally, all next-generation CAPS must support payment innovation, as well as rapid accommodation of regulatory changes.”

CDS Healthcare Payer Suite is hosted in CDS’ data center. The technology offers valuable managed services that help reduce the burden of IT operations for payers, allowing them to concentrate on their core business.
